Medical Assistant - patient intake (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Birch Care Services Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
