Medical Assistant - patient intake (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Cross Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
