Medical Assistant - patient intake (San Diego, CA)

Bright Basin Health provides primary and specialty care in San Diego, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
