Medical Assistant - patient intake (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Northwind Clear Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. You would join a small organisation of about 120 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
