Medical Assistant - patient intake (San Antonio, TX)

Lumen Birch Care Services Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for visit scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
