Medical Assistant - patient intake (Rochester, NY)

Bright Cross Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Rochester. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
