Medical Assistant - patient intake (Richmond, VA)

Highbridge Meridian Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Richmond, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
