Medical Assistant - patient intake (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Umber Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
