Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Bluepeak Rowan Health Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 63 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
