Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Rivermark Lakeside Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Buffalo with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
