Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Fernwood Wren Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for visit scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
