Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Redstone Ivory Health provides primary and specialty care in Buffalo, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
