Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Basin Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
