Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Ironwood Cross Health runs clinics and patient services around Charlotte. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. You would join a large organisation of about 920 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
