Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Greenridge Hollow Care Services provides in-home and community support in Des Moines. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. You would join a small organisation of about 85 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
