Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Rivermark Mill Care Services Partners provides in-home and community support in San Diego, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
