Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Fernwood Wren Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 128 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
