Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Stonegate Forge Care Services provides in-home and community support in Rochester. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
