Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark West Care Services Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
