Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

Lumen Quarry Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Louisville. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
