Medical Assistant - patient intake (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Basin Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
