Medical Assistant - patient intake (Raleigh, NC)

Ironwood Basin Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Raleigh, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would join a small organisation of about 175 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
