Medical Assistant - patient intake (Providence, RI)

Bright Glen Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Providence, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
