Medical Assistant - patient intake (Providence, RI)

Amberfield Stone Health is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
