Medical Assistant - patient intake (Providence, RI)

Cedar Hollow Care Services supports families and individuals in Providence with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
