Medical Assistant - patient intake (Nashville, TN)

Amberfield Lakeside Care Services provides in-home and community support in Nashville. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
