Medical Assistant - patient intake (Minneapolis, MN)

Lumen Birch Care Services Associates supports families and individuals in Minneapolis with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
