Medical Assistant - patient intake (Minneapolis, MN)

Northwind Sparrow Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Minneapolis with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
