Medical Assistant - patient intake (Milwaukee, WI)

Westbrook Lakeside Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
