Medical Assistant - patient intake (Miami, FL)

We are growing our team at Lumen Forge Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
