Medical Assistant - patient intake (Memphis, TN)

Lumen Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Memphis. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
