Medical Assistant - patient intake (Knoxville, TN)

Harborlight Meridian Health Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
