Medical Assistant - patient intake (Kansas City, MO)

Highbridge Orchard Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Kansas City, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
