Medical Assistant - patient intake (Jacksonville, FL)

Rivermark Sparrow Care Services provides in-home and community support in Jacksonville, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
