Medical Assistant - patient intake (Jackson, MS)

Rivermark Keystone Care Services provides in-home and community support in Jackson. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. You would join a large organisation of about 560 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
