Medical Assistant - patient intake (Jackson, MS)

Highbridge Mill Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for care plans, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
