Medical Assistant - patient intake (Indianapolis, IN)

Lumen Fern Care Services Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on patient intake for care plans, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification.
