Medical Assistant - patient intake (Houston, TX)

Nova Orchard Care Services provides in-home and community support in Houston, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
