Medical Assistant - patient intake (Grand Rapids, MI)

Lumen Clear Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Grand Rapids with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
