Medical Assistant - patient intake (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove West Care Services provides in-home and community support in Des Moines, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
