Medical Assistant - patient intake (Des Moines, IA)

Clearpath Glen Health Group is a healthcare provider in Des Moines with clinics and support teams, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
