Medical Assistant - patient intake (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Keystone Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
