Medical Assistant - patient intake (Charleston, SC)

Summit Oak Health is a healthcare provider in Charleston with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on patient intake. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
