Medical Assistant - patient intake (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Basin Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be patient intake. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
