Medical Assistant - patient intake (Birmingham, AL)

Highbridge Quill Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Birmingham, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our patient intake. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
