Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Basin Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
