Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Wichita, KS)

Lumen Sparrow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Wichita. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
