Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Wichita, KS)

Clearpath Rowan Health provides primary and specialty care in Wichita. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
