Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Wichita, KS)

Ironwood Ivory Health is a healthcare provider in Wichita with clinics and support teams, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
