Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Clear Health provides primary and specialty care in Virginia Beach, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
